Roger featured in Berks CountryMagazine/Reading Eagle

What a week this has been. My thanks to Stacie Jones editor of Berks Country magazine. Today she featured my Mark Twain character “Here’s Mark Twain” on the front page of the paper and on the front page of Berks Country. Thanks to Ron Devlin the author and Ben Hasty photographer.

Yet another review of Yakima program

“Hi Roger! I work for Union Gap, Washington Tourism, I was at the show here in Yakima, WA – we absolutely loved it! I posted photos and more on our Facebook page as well as the Central WA Ag Museum’s page – we could have listened for hours more! It inspired us to watch a Mark Twain documentary shortly thereafter. I would like to have met you in person, but the opportunity just didn’t present itself. Thanks so much for the wonderful performance!”

Yakima visit a thrill

Cathy and I visited Yakima, Washington for three performances of “Here’s Mark Twain: one for middle school children; one for a Lion’s Club convention; and then a public performance for 300 people at Four Corners Church. The visit was a benefit for the Olde Yakima Letterpress Museum and our hosts, who founded the museum, were Dr. Ruth Bishop and the Reverend Fred Hutchinson. They could not have been more gracious, attentive or generous. The public show featured the winners of a Samuel Clemen’s Essay Contest for 6th, 7th and 8th graders. The young writers were wonderful. We had a terrific time and really enjoyed our first visit to the northwest.
